With the rapid development of global industry, the graphite processing industry has been recognized as a key industrial mineral raw material both domestically and internationally. Especially in recent years, with the advancement of science and technology, graphite products have played a vital role in various industries.
Graphite products retain the inherent chemical properties of flake graphite, including acid and corrosion resistance, as well as physical properties, including high-temperature resistance of 3000℃ and low-temperature resistance of -204℃. They offer a compressive strength exceeding 800kg/cm² and are resistant to hydrogenation. They lose 1% of their weight in air at 450℃ and have a rebound rate of 15-50% (density 1.1-1.5). They also possess strong self-lubricating properties. Consequently, graphite products are widely used in metallurgy, chemical engineering, petrochemical engineering, high-energy physics, aerospace, electronics, and other fields.
Utilizing the properties of graphite, different types of products have been cleverly manufactured to meet engineering needs, including high-purity graphite products, flexible graphite products, and composite graphite products. To enhance performance, graphite is also combined with fibers (including synthetic fibers), metal wire, metal mesh, and metal processing plates to create composite graphite products, significantly increasing their strength and elasticity. Composite graphite products are primarily cold-pressed or heat-bonded with resins, synthetic rubbers, and plastics (such as polytetrafluoroethylene, ethylene, and propylene). Liquid graphite products (e.g., graphite emulsions) and semi-liquid graphite products (e.g., graphite greases) are also available.
Graphite products play an important role in a wide range of fields, providing sealing, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal insulation, pressure resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance, and have garnered widespread attention from experts both domestically and internationally.
